Plenary Assembly, 24 and 25 May 2022

IRG-Rail’s Plenary Assembly met for its spring session, chaired by Dr. Nikola Popović from HAKOM, Croatia’s network industries regulating body. IRG-Rail chairmanship will be taken over in 2023 by Bundesnetzagentur, the German Regulatory body and represented by Dr. Annegret Groebel and Prof. Dr. Karsten Otte.

At the Plenary, IRG-Rail’s members addressed current developments in the railway sector and within IRG-Rail. The agenda also included reports on the fulfilment of the Work program 2022 and plans for the next activities. Ahead of the meeting, two important documents were adopted by electronic voting procedure. First, the 10th Annual Market Monitoring Report and second, the Statement on the “Role of Regulatory Bodies in relation to publication of Service Facility Descriptions on web portals”, which are publicly available on this site.

IRG-Rail’s Plenary Assembly will meet again in November 2022.
